Absolutely lovely host and very cozy accommodations. It's a short walk away from the city center but I would stay here next time. We could easily walk to all the key spots. Giovanni, the host is very very helpful and flexible. Great stay overall!

The rooms used for Bed and Breakfast have been completely renovated , all the bathrooms have been redone in February 2020. B & B Centrale Bologna is located in a stately building, enjoys a strategic position, in just 5 minutes walk you can reach the central railway station and the bus station, just 100 meters from Via Dell'indipendenza, known for its cultural importance and commercial. In the historical center, with all the advantages of the proximity to the train station, well served by public transport and surrounded by restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, shops and various venues. Convenient for shopping, visiting the squares, churches, museums, the university. Just 5 km from the Bologna Fiere exhibition center, quickly reachable in 10 minutes by bus (the bus stop is under the house). Just outside the ZTL (limited traffic area), so no problem getting there by car. On request, in the garage adjacent to the Bed & Breakfast, covered parking spaces are available for a fee.
