The host Marinella is a wonderful host. Not only did she make check in easy, she marked up a map for us like a professional travel agent. The night before we were leaving very early in the morning she called taxi services for us and since all were booked, she drove us to the train station. She refused the money/ tip I offered and I insisted by putting it in her console and left before she could return it to me again. Only reason we did not walk was the heat and amount of bags. Truly a great experience and would stay there again. Maybe not the fanciest accommodations in town, but an absolutely fabulous experience, which (to me) is exactly why one travels. Exceptional place and even a more exceptional host . Located right in the heart of the town this apartment is just what you need . The 270 year old building is magnificent the room is spacious and clean .the bathroom is spotless and you have kitchen is at your disposa I have to mention also that the bed is extremely comfortable. It was our first experience staying in a private room instead of having an entire place. However, a perfect Bologna house charmed us from the entrance of the building. Our room was very beautiful, with a lovely balcony and a private bathroom in the hallway. Most importantly, everything, from the sheets to the towels, and to the bathroom, was very clean. The host, Marinella, was very attentive and friendly. The location was very central, within walking distance to everything. It was a fantastic stay for 2 nights.
