The owners extended many kindnesses to me, and accommodated my specific needs. Nicola even anticipated my needs and made sure they were covered. When I brought problems to their attention, they gave me very helpful explanations and used my suggestions as opportunities to fix the things that needed attention. We rented a family room with two twin beds and a king and the price was great. The owner recommended a great restaurant just down the street and we were able to get a reservation for that night. Facilities were nice, small fridge for food, and parking for a fee in the garage.

Spacious bed room with a ton of closet space in the entrance and large bathroom. Cookies and tea kettle and cups a nice touch! Prime location and plenty of items for continental breakfast and capacchinos made to order with kind staff. Steps away from a Incrocio Montegrappa, a fabulous pizzeria/restaurant we ate at 4 times during our stay. The host recommend it and some great other food places in the area and though we didn’t have the time to do it, his mother holds a 4 hour cooking class of Bolognese cuisine at the site! The location is not only great for Bologna but also close (17 minutes walking distance if you don’t have too many bags) to the main train station to explore the region or to take the Marconi express train to and from the international airport.

For e everyone wondering what living in an apartment in one of the buildings of Bologna's historic center is like, this is a good chance to experience it. The apartment is located right in the heart of the city but yet a quiet and cosy road. I had crazy schedules so I was most of the time out, but I was in luck to find the place available at that time of the year and on such a short notice. The staf was friendly and helpful and the owner was so kind to refund the cost for the breakfasts I didn't have because I had to leave early every day to catch the bus😊
